3. Data Sovereignty

You decide on the storage location: On your own servers (on-premise) or in a certified cloud. We contractually exclude the use of your data for third-party AI training.

Access your knowledge via a browser-based chat interface. Furthermore, we open the archive for data science: Use your data for statistics, dashboards, or AI research. This turns a passive storage facility into a source of new knowledge and monetizable value.

We offer flexible logistics concepts tailored to your security requirements. Many clients choose to hand over sensitive data personally or use a direct courier. For larger volumes, we organize transport via reliable freight forwarders. As soon as the material arrives, we log its receipt to ensure a complete chain of custody.

We offer a "Scan-on-Demand" service for this scenario. Simply notify us of the document you need, and we will prioritize its digitization. Typically, you will have digital access within a few hours, often before the regular batch process is completed.

In the medical sector, we process nearly all DICOM standards. For proprietary industrial or special formats, we conduct individual feasibility studies. Thanks to our in-house software development, we can often engineer dedicated importers to extract information from discontinued file systems—though a technical validation is a prerequisite for this.

We use modern HTR (Handwritten Text Recognition) methods that deliver remarkably good results, even with older scripts. However, AI models are never infallible. For critical data, we therefore validate results via random sampling or involve human experts for corrections.

We deliver more than just static image files. Our goal is structured information. You receive the data in the format your IT requires—whether as JSON, XML, CSV for databases, or directly via API integration into your ERP system. Of course, you also receive audit-proof PDF/A files for long-term archiving.

Absolutely. Security is our core area. We offer end-to-end encryption, role-based access rights, and hosting exclusively according to German data protection standards.

A clear no. We prioritize data sovereignty. If we deploy AI models for you, they run either locally (on-premise) or in isolated instances. We contractually guarantee that your data is not fed into the training of public models. Your knowledge remains your property.

That depends on your preferred deployment model. Cloud: No new hardware is required when using our GDPR-compliant cloud. On-Premise: If you choose to host the system locally, server upgrades may be necessary depending on data volume. We analyze your existing infrastructure and advise your administrators on the required specifications.

For files and paper documents, you have the choice: return shipment or certified destruction via our partners.

Important rule: Physical objects (such as components, historical artifacts, or samples) are excluded from disposal services. These items are always returned to you after digitization.
